Join us on this popular Abrolhos tour, starting with a breathtaking scenic flight from the Geraldton terminal. Fly over unique fishing settlements and three island groups before landing at East Wallabi. Then take a guided tour of the beautiful Turtle Bay.

From there, you see spectacular coral reef while snorkeling through the clear blue water. You can also embark on a nature trail. Morning tea and optional BYO or catered lunch is served during this time.

What you can expect

• Please arrive at the Shine Aviation terminal 45 minutes prior to departure. There, your experienced tour pilot conducts a pre-flight discussion, showing a map of the Abrolhos Islands, explaining the history, outlining the day’s activities, and providing a safety brief. The scenic flight from Geraldton takes just over one hour, and the plane lands at East Wallabi Island.

A 700 to 800 m walk takes you to the gorgeous and remote Turtle Bay. Morning tea is served under the beach shelter. You can then spend time snorkeling over stunning coral and abundant sea life, have a relaxing swim, or explore this pristine environment before the optional lunch is served or enjoy your own picnic lunch.

Your pilot acts as a tour guide, providing onboard commentary and directing the land-based component. You see historic sites and hear famous stories of shipwrecks. The direct flight back to Geraldton takes about 30 minutes.

Morning tea and basic snorkeling equipment are provided. Wet suits are available for rental. There is also an Abrolhos information brochure available for you to take home.
